How it will work
- You enter your domain and an email address at that domain.
- You prove the site is yours, by adding a short tag to your home page or by replying from that email address. This stops anyone asking us to crawl a site that is not theirs.
- CensusIndexBot runs the same checks it runs for every CensusIndex™ category, with the same evidence grades.
- We send the results to you. They are not published unless you ask.
What it does not do
Submitted sites are kept out of the published category totals, because sites that ask to be checked are not a fair sample of their category. A check does not add you to the Census100. It shows whether your site passes the crawl part of the entry bar, and you can ask for your brand to be considered for a category's brand list.
