Who we are

The data controller for this site is Greg Bennett, trading as the AI Visibility Census, Block B2, Kilmacud Road Upper, Dublin 14, Ireland. For anything about your data, including a request to access or delete it, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Cookies: this site sets no cookies for visitors and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
  • Server and network logs: our host and our network provider (Cloudflare) process standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time, to deliver and secure the site.
  • Automated-agent log: we keep a log of requests made by automated systems, such as search engine and AI crawlers, and of requests for the Markdown and llms.txt versions of our pages. It records IP address, user agent, page requested, approximate country and time. We use it to understand how automated systems read the site.
  • Email: if you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Why we use it

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running, securing and studying this website, and to respond to messages you send. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Automated-agent log entries are kept for up to 24 months. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter they relate to.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process data on our behalf to run the site. We do not share personal data with anyone else unless required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
