# Corrections

Accuracy matters more than speed. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open.

## How to report an error

Email [hello@aivisibilitycensus.com](mailto:hello@aivisibilitycensus.com) with the edition, the question, the engine and the result you believe is wrong, plus any evidence. You do not need to be the firm concerned.

## What happens next

- We acknowledge your message within two working days.
- We check the result against the recorded answer, the published question and the collection date.
- If the result was recorded wrongly, we correct it and add a dated note to the edition page explaining what changed.
- If the result was recorded correctly, we explain why it stands.

## What we do not change

The Census records what each engine returned on the dates tested. We do not change a correctly recorded result because a firm disagrees with what an engine said. An engine answering differently on a later date is reflected in the next edition, not by editing a past one.
